André Castaldi founded Converse Media in 2003. Over the past five years, under his guidance, the company has evolved from producing corporate video ‘talking heads’, into a boutique media agency, providing media production, media booking and design services.
André supervises all projects at Converse Media. Expert understanding of budgeting and project management, a passion for exceeding his clients’ expectations, combine with creative flair and an exceptional eye for quality and detail make André a leader in his field.
The company operates day to day with administration, management, creative resources and high quality technical resources in house, including two broadcast edit suites with the latest editing and design software. André is surrounded by a team of loyal professionals, who have worked with Converse Media on a project basis for many years. This combination of personnel and equipment gives Converse Media a flexible approach to budgeting and production value.

Toby Heslop – Cameraman/Editor/Designer

Ex pro inline skater, claiming the Australian title at the age of 15 in 1995, Toby Heslop is a highly skilled Multi Media content creator. Toby has worked professionally as a cameraman and editor for Fox/Fuel TV, Fox 8, Eurocam, TVNZ as well as leading corporates such as Kimberly Clarke, Pepsi, St George Bank, Telstra and a myriad of action sports events from the Monster Skate Park, Australian Pro Tour Wakeboarding and the Sony ESPN Pipe Masters.
Equipped with Sony PMW-EX1 XDCAM EX camera and production kit Toby is an action footage specialist (able to shoot while moving on inline skates) with equal expertise as a lighting cameraman in interview, presenter and studio formats. Toby is a highly proficient Final Cut Pro editor and has a strong flair for broadcast finishing, grading, Broadcast Design and Motion Graphic Work.
These skills are underpinned by creative thought, stamina and a passion for continually enhancing his content creation expertise.
Toby works as a cameraman, editor and or designer for Converse Media on a project by project basis.
