<p style="text-align: left;">This video is a short promo for the 30 minute educational documentary <strong>Cannabis Facts &#8211; Clearing The Smoke</strong>, produced by Converse Media for <strong>NCPIC</strong>, <strong>UNSW</strong> .</p>
<p><span id="more-1858"></span>Produced for the <strong>National Cannabis Prevention and Information Center (NCPIC)</strong>, part of the <strong>National Drug and Alcohol Research Center (NADARC)</strong>, <strong>University of NSW</strong>, this 30 minute educational documentary aims to update allied health workers with the latest information and research on Cannabis. The program includes interviews with leading researchers and social scientists including <strong>Professor Iain McGregor</strong>, School of Psychology University of Sydney, <strong>Dr Nadja Solowij</strong>, School of Psychology University of Wollongong and <strong>Dr Wendy Swift</strong>, NADARC, University of New South Wales. The DVD also includes factual segments on the effects of cannabis and other cannabinoids, how cannabis works, how is it is used, information about potency of the drug and the effects of cannabis on young people and developing brains. The latest evidence on cannabis dependence, withdrawal and treatment is also discussed.</p>
<p>The program will be launched at the <a href="http://www.adf.org.au/6dyp" target="_blank"><strong>6th International Young People and Drugs Conference</strong></a> in Melbourne on Monday 2 May. <p>Some of our work has been included in an exhibition:<span style="font-family: Arial;"><strong> genart_sys | a window on digital culture</strong><span style="font-family: Arial;"> An exhibition presented by the Australia Council for the Arts and curated by New Media Curation</span></span>. <span id="more-1797"></span>we created a video documenting the work of Institute for Aboriginal Development (IAD) and the Ben Foley. IAD Press has the mandate  to preserve, maintain and promote Indigenous  languages and  storytelling. This includes actively supporting Indigenous writers of  all ages and, as such, is recognised as a leader in managing Indigenous  cultural and intellectual property. Ben Foley is the IAD Press  Geek-in-Residence charged with  redesigning the current website to  improve community outreach and support the storytelling tradition.
